Master of Applied Science in Biomedical Engineering
Students with an honors degree, or equivalent, containing a research project component, can undertake studies towards the degree of MASc in Biomedical Engineering. The undergraduate degree can be in disciplines other than Engineering, although additional coursework may be required in some cases. The program is normally two years in duration, including six single-semester courses and a research thesis. Further details on admission criterial are available in the School Policies.

Ph.D. Studies in Biomedical Engineering
Students with a thesis-based Master's degree can undertake PhD studies in Biomedical Engineering at Dalhousie University.
The Master's degree can be in disciplines other than Biomedical Engineering.

Selection of courses is based on the interests of the student, needs of the student's thesis program and are chosen by the student with the thesis supervisor and supervisory committee and with approval of the graduate coordinator.
